Job summary

Ruangguru for Business is seeking an IT Support Technician in Jakarta Pusat to maintain hardware, assist staff, and manage IT assets. You will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, support networks, and document incidents. Fresh graduates are welcome; familiarity with Windows/macOS, LAN/Wi‑Fi, and basic soldering is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum SMK/D3/S1 in Teknik Elektronika, TKJ, Teknik Komputer, Informatika, IT, Computer Engineering, CS, Information Systems or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of hardware, software, OS, networking, and electronic components.
• Hands‑on experience in hardware troubleshooting, repair, disassembly, and component replacement.
• Familiarity with basic soldering and desoldering techniques preferred.
• Able to use basic hardware repair tools such as soldering iron, multimeter, screwdriver set, etc.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts such as LAN, Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP, DNS.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic hardware repair and maintenance, including component replacement and device troubleshooting.
• Perform basic soldering and desoldering for electronic components when required.
• Provide technical support to employees related to hardware, software, network, and IT systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
• Assist employees with installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Manage, monitor, and maintain IT assets including laptops, computers, monitors, peripherals, and other IT devices.
• Perform user account setup, access management, and basic system configuration.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, incidents, repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams or external vendors to resolve technical issues when needed.
• Support implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and internal systems.
• Ensure IT equipment and systems are properly maintained and available for daily business operations.
• Provide basic guidance to employees on IT tools, systems, and security best practices.
• Identify recurring hardware or technical issues and recommend improvements to prevent similar issues.
• Perform other IT support and technical tasks as needed.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems, networking, and electronic components.
• Hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting, repair, disassembly, and component replacement.
• Familiarity with basic soldering and desoldering techniques is preferred.
• Able to use basic hardware repair tools such as soldering iron, multimeter, screwdriver set, and similar tools.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts such as LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and

VPN is a plus.

• Familiarity with productivity tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Service-oriented and able to assist users with different levels of technical knowledge.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team.
• Willing to learn new technologies, tools, and technical skills.
• Experience with IT helpdesk/ticketing systems or IT asset management is a plus.
• Experience repairing laptops, PCs, monitors, cables, connectors, or other electronic/IT devices is highly preferred.
