Job summary

PT Media Bersama Sukses (MBS Group) seeks an experienced Purchasing/Procurement professional in Surabaya to manage end-to-end IT equipment purchasing, including CCTV, networking devices, servers, and security systems. You will evaluate suppliers, coordinate with internal teams, and handle import/export documentation to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IT procurement, strong Excel skills, and proven vendor management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years’ purchasing/procurement experience in IT/electronics/telecommunications.
• Experience handling import/export and international shipping documents.
• Familiar with CCTV, networking devices, servers, computers, switches, routers.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; purchasing administration experience.
• Detail-oriented, organized, independent or collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain supplier relationships for price, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Handle import/export administration, purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, and customs docs.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Warehouse, and Finance to align procurement with timelines.
• Monitor stock, delivery schedules, costs, and supplier performance with proper documentation.

Job description

Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for IT equipment, including CCTV, networking devices, servers, computers, security systems, and other technical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local and overseas suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, product quality, and timely delivery
• Handle import and export administration, including purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, customs clearance coordination, and other relevant documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments, especially Project, Engineering, Warehouse, and Finance, to ensure procurement requirements align with project specifications and timelines
• Monitor stock availability, delivery schedules, purchasing costs, and supplier performance while ensuring accurate procurement documentation

About you

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably in IT, electronics, telecommunications, or technology-related industries
• Have experience handling import and export processes, including international shipping and import/export documentation
• Familiar with IT products such as CCTV, networking devices, servers, computers, switches, routers, and other electronic equipment
• Good negotiation, communication, analytical, and vendor management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with purchasing administration
• Detail-oriented, responsible, organized, and able to work independently or collaboratively
