Job summary

RELX International Enterprise HK Limited in Batam is seeking an experienced IT professional to provide comprehensive desktop support, manage network operations, and contribute to factory IT engineering projects. You will oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, maintain network and security operations, and drive efficiency through technology solutions.

The role requires at least 3 years of IT experience, a diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, and the ability to work locally in Batam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, or network administration.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
• Fluent in Mandarin is preferred; located in Batam or able to relocate.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, CCTV, desktop support, and IT asset lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of office IT equipment including laptops, desktops, printers, and IP phones.
• Provide daily IT desktop support to local employees (OS installation, software deployment, troubleshooting).
• Establish and maintain the IT asset ledger and conduct periodic physical inventory checks.
• Manage IT spare parts inventory and develop procurement plans tailored to local supply chains.
• Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the company's internal network (wired/wireless).
• Configure, tune, and maintain network devices (switches, routers, APs) and security appliances (Firewalls, VPNs, Web Filtering/Access Control, IPS/IDS).
• Participate in IT infrastructure planning and construction for new or expanding factory projects (structured cabling, CCTV, access control).
• Coordinate with local or international third-party vendors to drive implementation and official acceptance of factory IT projects.
• Draft and maintain IT operation manuals and technical documentation in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia.
• Explore and promote the application of AI tools in daily IT routines to enhance efficiency.

This role is responsible for comprehensive IT support and infrastructure management across desktop support, network operations, and factory IT engineering. You will manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, maintain network and security operations, participate in IT infrastructure planning for factory projects, and drive efficiency improvements through technology innovation.

Key responsibilities

Manage full lifecycle of office equipment including laptops, desktops, printers, and IP phones (procurement, configuration, distribution, maintenance, and end-of-life)

Provide daily IT desktop technical support to local employees in Indonesia, covering OS installation, software deployment, and troubleshooting

Establish and maintain the IT asset ledger and conduct periodic physical inventory checks

Manage IT spare parts inventory and develop procurement plans tailored to local supply chains

Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the company's internal network (wired/wireless)

Configure, tune, and maintain network devices (switches, routers, AC controllers, APs) and security appliances (Firewalls, VPNs, Web Filtering/Access Control, IPS/IDS)

About you
