Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a Cook Commis 1 to join our kitchen team in Indonesia. The role focuses on preparing Indonesian and international cuisine while adhering to strict food safety and equipment safety standards.

You will work as part of a fast-paced crew, contributing to high restaurant standards and flexible hours as needed on site. This role supports our logistics-focused hospitality operations within the company."

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Cook Commis 1 or in a similar kitchen role, with the ability to prepare both Indonesian and international cuisine.
• Sound knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene procedures, and the safe operation of commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Responsible, reliable, and committed team player with excellent time management skills, capable of working flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
• Fast learner with a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for developing new culinary techniques, and a commitment to maintaining high restaurant standards.

• Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
• Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
