Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a mechanical maintenance professional based in Indonesia to maintain heavy equipment, trucks, and industrial machinery. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance while supporting logistics operations and reporting on performance metrics.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a related degree, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A valid SIM A or SIM B is advantageous for the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, heavy equipment, trucks, or industrial machinery.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel engine systems.
• Ability to perform equipment inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Possession of a valid SIM A or SIM B is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, ensure order accuracy, and prepare cargo for delivery.
• Pack the goods properly for shipping including printing labels, and coordinate the cargo delivery processes with logistic or courier parties.
• Prepare periodic reports regarding the performance of logistics operations, expenses, inventory, and special projects.
• Participate in equipment failure investigations and provide corrective recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Manage spare parts availability and propose maintenance material requirements.
• Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
• Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
• Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor in accordance with operational requirements
