Job summary

Time International, a Retail company in Indonesia, is seeking an Inventory Accountant to prepare and maintain monthly inventory adjustment reports, review warehouse inventory reports, and reconcile data.

This role requires 1–2 years of experience in accounting or inventory, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to coordinate with Accounting, Logistics, Warehouse, and Boutiques, plus assist audits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Inventory, Inventory Control, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of inventory transactions, reconciliation, and inventory-related accounting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for data accuracy and details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly formulas and data analysis.
• Comfortable working with ERP/accounting systems and able to investigate and understand system-generated data.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Willing to conduct stock opname and inventory verification at warehouses and boutiques when required.
• Able to handle multiple priorities and ad hoc projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly inventory adjustment reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review warehouse inventory reports and reconcile inventory-related data.
• Monitor Transfer Out transactions and follow up on discrepancies or outstanding movements.
• Review and process inventory adjustments from the Logistics team, ensuring proper documentation and recording.
• Support and coordinate stock opname and inventory verification at warehouses and boutiques, including serving as a witness for external audits, internal audits, and destruction activities when required.
• Support the local destruction process and coordinate with external auditors when needed.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies by analyzing transaction data, system records, and supporting documents.
• Work closely with Accounting, Logistics, Warehouse, Boutique, and other relevant teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Handle various ad hoc inventory projects and analysis based on management needs.
