Job summary

PZ Cussons is seeking a Senior Manager Insights & Validation to embed consumer insights across the business, influencing decisions from path to purchase. You will collaborate with Marketing, Commercial and R&D to translate data into actions that drive growth in Indonesia and Asia.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage external agencies, and shape marketing and R&D programs with insight-led strategies, while advancing innovative approaches across markets.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Partner with Marketing, R&D and Category Management to deliver product/communication innovation.
• Experience with both market-leading and challenger brands.
• Strong change-management capabilities in periods of transition.
• Collaborative, team-oriented with ability to align goals across functions.
• Strong commercial curiosity and objective data-driven thinking.
• Excellent storytelling and communication, simplifying complex data.
• Confident presenting insights to individuals and groups.
• Experience using mixed research methodologies to generate insights.
• Knowledge of emerging technology platforms and their practical application.

Responsibilities

• Insight work grounded in the Path to Purchase framework.
• Scope and run projects across multiple methodologies for actionable insights.
• Proactively use insights to influence business priorities and growth.
• Identify and fill gaps in understanding along the Path to Purchase.
• Leverage tech-first solutions to speed time to insight and deepen understanding.
• Be the objective voice of the Consumer and Shopper for Indonesia and Asia.
• Deliver deeper understanding of Markets, Consumers and Shoppers in Indonesia and Asia.
• Deliver projects through external agencies with ROI-focused value.
• Create long-term vendor plans to drive efficiency.
• Set guardrails for self-serve models alongside partners.
