Job summary

PT Kaltimex Energy in Balikpapan seeks an experienced B2B industrial sales professional with a background in engineering, business, or related fields. You will analyze markets, craft strategies, and build tailored technical-commercial solutions for industrial customers.

You will develop strong customer relationships, coordinate with internal teams on specs, pricing, and delivery, and travel across Indonesia to advance opportunities. English fluency and proven sales results are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales & Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
3–5 years minimum B2B industrial sales experience, preferably selling generator set units or other heavy industrial equipment.
Strong sales and marketing knowledge with the ability to deliver tailored technical-commercial solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel across Indonesia for customer visits, market development, and insight gathering.

Responsibilities

Conduct market analysis, develop strategies, and create action plans to identify business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to expand business opportunities and support sales growth.
Prepare tailored sales proposals based on customer technical and commercial requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams on specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Conduct regular customer visits, follow up on enquiries, actively sell our products, and promote other products catered by Company wherever there is an opportunity to do so.
Meet sales targets and provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
