Job summary

Schaeffler Indonesia is seeking a qualified engineer to oversee Distribution Sales in Indonesia. The role focuses on managing distributor networks, driving sales targets, and expanding market share across sectors with industrial parts.

You will collaborate with Marketing, MRO, and Sales teams to develop and support distributors and key customers. The position requires extensive experience in industrial distribution, leadership, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent training.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in industrial sectors.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in distribution or channel management dealing with industrial parts or components.
• Experience in matrix organizations and strategic sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and promote Schaeffler’s product portfolio through distributors.
• Achieve the sales and profit targets for the Distribution Business in Indonesia.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key end customers.
• Increase market share through distributors and end-user sales.
• Support distributors in winning contracts with their customers.
• Organize product and technical seminars with Marketing and MRO Sales teams.
• Develop distribution partners and improve their sales performance.
• Review distributor performance quarterly, including sales results and order fulfillment.
