Job summary

Schaeffler Indonesia seeks an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive area sales strategy in Sulawesi and Manado, delivering engineering-backed solutions and strong after‑sales support. You will work with distributors and end customers to grow revenue and ensure high service levels.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree with 8+ years in heavy industry, knowledge of bearings, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years in engineering/manufacturing.
Experience in heavy industries and strong regional network.
Knowledge of rotary and linear bearings; basic electrical direct drives.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement an area sales strategy in coordination with the Sales Manager for Sulawesi and Manado regions.
Deliver value to customers using an engineering-based sales approach and consider total cost of ownership.
Provide up-to-date technical support to distributors and customers in the designated areas.
Implement sales objectives and strategies to support growth in assigned areas.
Support and develop partners to establish relationships with major end customers.
Observe site conditions to ensure suitable bearing supply and service.
Report market and competitor information to managers in a timely manner.
Coordinate training and product promotion to distributors and end users in the area.
Respond to quality complaints and provide after-sales service as required.
