Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd in Indonesia seeks an experienced Field Applications Engineer to support industrial products at customer sites.

You will translate customer needs into technical solutions, conduct site surveys, and coordinate with Chinese-speaking principals and teams. Travel to remote project locations for extended periods will be required, with onsite work at industrial facilities across Indonesia.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years in industrial environments.
Mandarin language mandatory; read Mandarin docs.
Willing to travel extensively, including remote areas.
Experience with industrial equipment (rotating, conveyors) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for industrial products and solutions.
Translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
Support regional sales and BD in product selection, proposals, and presentations.
Conduct product inspection, technical assessment, commissioning, troubleshooting, and site support.
Coordinate with principals, suppliers, customers, and internal engineering teams.
Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
Continuously develop product knowledge and stay updated on industrial technologies.
