Job summary

PT Suprabakti Mandiri is seeking a hands-on Technical Support Specialist to provide onsite support for industrial products and translate customer needs into actionable technical solutions. You will assist the Regional Sales team with product selection, technical proposals, and customer presentations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, brings at least 3 years of industrial experience, and is fluent in Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in industrial environments.
• Fluent in Mandarin reading and speaking.
• Willingness to travel extensively to customer and project locations, including remote areas.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Job description

Provide technical support for industrial products and solutions.

Understand customer requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.

Support Regional Sales & Business Development team in product selection, technical proposal, and customer presentation.

Conduct product inspection, technical assessment, commissioning, troubleshooting, and site support when required.

Coordinate with principals, suppliers, customers, and internal engineering teams.

Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports and recommendations.

Continuously develop product knowledge and understand the latest industrial technologies and applications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (S1), Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum3 years of working experience in industrial environments, preferably in: Power Generation, Cement Industry, Mining, Manufacturing

Active Mandarin language skills are mandatory:

Able to communicate fluently in Mandarin.

Able to read and understand Mandarin technical documents.

Able to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking customers, principals, suppliers, and technical teams.

Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Willing to travel extensively to customer and project locations, including remote areas.

Willing to be assigned to remote project sites for approximately 2–3 months, depending on project requirements.

Physically and mentally prepared for field-based industrial work.

Having experience working with industrial equipment, rotating equipment, conveyor systems, or bulk material handling equipment will be an advantage.
