Job summary

PT JASA ASIA JAYA LOGISTIK is seeking a cost analyst for Export-Import operations in Jakarta. You will handle DO and import documentation, understand clearance workflows, and manage cost components.

The role requires data entry, reporting, and communication with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal teams; proficiency in MS Excel/Word/Outlook and English (Mandarin a bonus) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: SMA/SMK or Diploma/Bachelor’s in customs, logistics, management, administration, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Export-Import operation (fresh graduates welcome)
• Understand DO processing and import documentation
• Know import clearance workflow and container release procedures
• Recognize DO fees, demurrage, detention, storage, lift-on/lift-off charges
• Understand refunds/reimbursements involving shipping lines
• Capable of data entry, compilation and organized documentation
• Able to analyze and compare DO and demurrage costs
• Identify cost-savings opportunities in container handling
• Prepare reports and provide cost-based recommendations
• Meticulous with strong administrative, problem solving and analytical skills
• Capable of meeting deadlines and multitasking
• Communicate effectively with shipping lines, freight forwarders, vendors, customers, and internal teams
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook (intermediate-advanced)
• English communication required (Mandarin a plus)

Job description

Minimum education : Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or Diploma/Bachelor’s degree (D3/S1) in Customs, Logistics, Management, Administration, or related fields

Minimum 2 years of experience in Export-Import operation (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)

Understand the process of handling Delivery Orders (DO) and import documentation

Understand the import clearance workflow and container release procedures from the port

Understands cost components such as DO fees, demurrage, detention, storage, lift-on/lift-off charges, and other related costs

Understands refund or reimbursement processes involving shipping lines and related parties

Capable of performing data entry, data compilation, and documentation in an organized and accurate manner

Able to analyze and compare DO and demurrage costs

Able to identify opportunities for cost efficiency and savings in the container handling process

Able to prepare reports and provide recommendations based on cost data

Meticulous, detail oriented, and possesses strong administrative skill

Possesses problem solving and analytical thinking skills

Capable of meeting deadlines and multitasking

Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with shipping lines, freight forwarders, vendors, customers, and internal teams

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
