PT Unicorn Food & Services is a hospitality group in Bali seeking a People Operations & Team Relations Specialist to keep People & Culture operations organized and compliant. You will manage contracts, attendance, payroll inputs, BPJS administration and team member records with care.
You’ll be the trusted contact for team members, resolving workplace concerns and ensuring smooth onboarding, probation reviews and offboarding.

We’re looking for a People Operations & Team Relations Specialist who genuinely cares about people and also loves accuracy, structure and getting the details right.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll help keep the operational heart of our People & Culture department running smoothly.
You’ll make sure Team Member records are complete, contracts are prepared and renewed on time, attendance information is accurate, payroll inputs are carefully checked and BPJS administration is always up to date.
But this role is about more than administration.
You’ll also be someone our team members can trust and approach when they have a question, concern or workplace issue.
You’ll listen carefully, communicate clearly and help resolve situations fairly, respectfully and consistently.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN
1. Team Member Contracts & Documentation
Prepare work agreements, contract extensions, amendments, promotion letters, transfer letters and other People & Culture documents
Maintain a clear contract tracker with upcoming expiration and renewal dates
Remind leaders about contract and probation decisions before deadlines
Make sure every document is complete, accurate, approved and properly signed
Keep digital and physical Team Member files organized and confidential
Update Team Member information whenever someone changes position, salary, location or working status
2. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Inputs
Review attendance, lateness, absences, leave, overtime and schedule information
Follow up with leaders when attendance information is missing or unclear
Prepare accurate monthly payroll inputs and submit them to Finance on time
Check salary changes, allowances, deductions, overtime and other payroll-related information
Help investigate and resolve attendance or payroll discrepancies
Maintain clear records so every payroll input can be verified
Work closely with Finance and operational leaders to ensure Team Members are paid accurately and on time
Register new Team Members and update or deactivate records when required
Make sure salary, dependent and Team Member information is accurate
Monitor BPJS submissions and follow up on outstanding matters
Help Team Members understand how to access and use their BPJS benefits
Maintain accurate records of company benefits and eligibility
Prepare all required documents before a new Team Member’s first day
Support a smooth onboarding process together with Talent Acquisition and operational leaders
Track probation periods and make sure reviews happen before their deadlines
Prepare confirmation, extension or separation documents following probation decisions
Coordinate resignation, separation and offboarding documentation
Make sure company property, uniforms, access and outstanding responsibilities are properly handed over
Help every Team Member enter and leave the company with clarity, dignity and respect
5. Team Member Relations & Support
Be a trusted first point of contact for Team Members who have questions or workplace concerns
Listen with empathy while remaining fair, professional and objective
Help resolve misunderstandings and smaller workplace issues before they grow
Escalate sensitive or serious matters to the Head of People & Culture
Support fair investigations by collecting facts, timelines and relevant documentation
Maintain clear and confidential records of Team Member relations cases
Follow up until each matter has been properly addressed
Help leaders communicate difficult decisions respectfully and clearly
Help Team Members and leaders understand company policies and procedures
Support the preparation of coaching records, warning letters and disciplinary documentation
Make sure similar situations are handled fairly and consistently
Ensure People & Culture processes follow Indonesian labour regulations and company standards
Keep templates, forms and policies organized and up to date
Proactively flag missing documents, compliance risks and approaching deadlines
7. People Data & Systems
Maintain accurate Team Member data in our systems, trackers and files
Keep positions, departments, reporting lines and work locations updated
Prepare monthly People Operations reports
Track contracts, probation, attendance, turnover, leave, BPJS and Team Member relations cases
Identify recurring issues and recommend better systems or processes
Look for ways to make People Operations faster, smarter and easier for everyone

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Experience in People Operations, People Administration, Team Relations or a similar role
Good knowledge of contracts, attendance, payroll inputs, BPJS and Team Member records
Understanding of Indonesian labour regulations and People & Culture practices
Strong administrative and documentation skills
Confidence working with spreadsheets, trackers and People systems
Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia
Comfortable written and spoken English
Experience in hospitality, restaurants, retail or another fast-moving industry is an advantage
