Geonet Property & Finance Group is building out its People & Culture function in Bali, and this is the role at the centre of the day-to-day. You will keep employee records accurate, keep recruitment moving, and make sure every new starter's first week is organised before they walk in. You will work directly with the General Manager of People & Culture, supporting a team that spans our Bali delivery operation and our Australian sales floor. This is a hands-on administrative role, not a management one. It suits someone who already knows how an HR function runs and wants to own the engine room of one.
What you'll do:
- Maintain employee records, contracts and personnel files so they are accurate, current and confidential.
- Coordinate recruitment end to end: post ads, screen applications against the position description, schedule interviews, and keep every candidate informed of where they stand.
- Run onboarding logistics — offer paperwork, pre-employment and reference checks, first-day induction, IT and equipment requests.
- Track attendance, leave and timesheets, and prepare the monthly inputs Payroll needs.
- Draft HR correspondence: offer letters, contract variations, confirmations of employment.
- Administer BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and BPJS Kesehatan registrations and keep our Indonesian employment paperwork compliant.
- Keep HR policies, SOPs and templates organised, versioned and easy for managers to find.
- Help coordinate team events, training sessions and engagement activities.
- Take accurate notes in People & Culture meetings and follow the actions through to done.
About you:
- At least two years in an HR, HR administration or people-operations role. Relevant experience is essential; this is not a graduate position.
- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Management, Law, Business or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Indonesian employment administration: contracts, BPJS, leave entitlements, THR, and the basics of UU Ketenagakerjaan.
- Confident written and spoken English alongside fluent Bahasa Indonesia — you will work with Australian and Indonesian colleagues every day.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills, and genuinely comfortable in a spreadsheet.
- Discreet. You will see salaries, personnel files and sensitive conversations, and none of it leaves the room.
- Organised enough to run several recruitment processes at once without dropping a candidate or a deadline.
- Calm, warm and approachable. For a lot of people here, you are the first face of the company.
