Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years HR experience in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and Bali practices.
• Experience in full recruitment cycle and employee relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in HRM, business admin or related field.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join Ametis Villa Bali, a dynamic hospitality organisation based in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our human resources strategy across all levels of the organisation. As HR Manager, you will be instrumental in building a high-performing culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with all relevant employment regulations. This role reports directly to senior management and has strategic importance in supporting the company's growth and operational excellence objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive human resources policies, procedures and strategies aligned with company objectives and Indonesian employment legislation
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes, including job analysis, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection and onboarding of staff across all departments
• Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, conflict resolution and termination processes
• Administer payroll, benefits and compensation packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local labour laws and regulations
• Conduct training needs analysis and develop employee development programmes to enhance skills, knowledge and career progression
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and human resources information systems
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour laws, tax regulations and other statutory requirements applicable to the hospitality sector
• Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes diversity, inclusion and employee wellbeing
• Handle employee grievances and implement fair and consistent disciplinary measures
• Liaise with external stakeholders including government agencies, legal advisors and recruitment partners as required

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 3 years of professional human resources experience, preferably within the hospitality, hotel or resort industry
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment legislation, labour laws and local recruitment practices in Bali
• Demonstrated experience in full recruitment cycle management and employee relations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
• Strong organisational and time management capabilities with the ability to prioritise competing demands
• Sound judgment, integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal); Indonesian language fluency is essential
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Experience managing multi-cultural and diverse teams in an international setting would be highly valued
