Job summary

Staffinc is seeking an experienced HSE professional to lead company-wide health, safety, and environment initiatives. The role requires developing policies aligned with SMK3, ISO standards, and client requirements, and coordinating audits and regulatory readiness across projects.

You will design training curricula, support project teams with HSE planning, and drive safety culture initiatives across accounts to ensure a culture of shared accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE or Facility Management.
• 5–8 years of HSE experience.
• Exposure to mining, smelter, or heavy manufacturing clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain HSE policies aligned with SMK3/K3, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and client requirements.
• Lead internal and external audits and regulatory reporting readiness.
• Design HSE training curriculums for supervisors, technicians, and project managers.
• Support project managers with HSE planning, toolbox talks, site onboarding, and client HSE interfacing.
• Drive safety culture initiatives and liaise with workers, supervisors, and clients to ensure accountability.

Job Description:

1. HSE Strategy & System Design

• Develop, document, and maintain company-wide HSE policies, procedures, and standards aligned with SMK3/K3, ISO 45001 (Safety), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and client requirements.
• Partner with management to integrate HSE into project planning, risk assessment, contracting, and operational decision-making frameworks.
• Translate risk profiles into formal risk management systems.

2. Compliance, Risk & Assurance

• Lead coordinated compliance monitoring (internal and external audits, regulatory reporting).
• Ensure readiness for government HSE inspections and client audits.
• Perform risk assessments, HIRA/HAZID/HAZOP sessions with operations & project teams.
• Sustain incident & near-miss investigation frameworks and corrective action tracking

3. Training & Capability Building

• Design HSE training curriculums for operational teams: supervisors, technicians, and project managers.
• Deliver and oversee trainings on SMK3, PPE use, emergency response, hazard recognition, and environmental controls

4. Operations Support & Project Enablement

• Support project managers and operations leaders in HSE planning, tool-box talks, site onboarding, and client HSE interfacing.
• Monitor field implementation, feedback loops, and standardization of best practices across accounts.

5. Safety Culture & Change Leadership

• Drive HSE culture initiatives: safety campaigns, reward & recognition, top-down engagement programs.
• Liaise with workers, supervisors, and clients to ensure a culture of shared accountability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering / HSE / Facility Management
• 5-8 years experience in HSE
• Ahli K3 UMUM(AK3U)
• Exposure to mining, smelter, or heavy manufacturing client

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Facility Managements
• ISO 45001 / 14001 system integration experience
• ISO 45001 lead auditor or practitioner(strongly preferred)
