About the role We are seeking an HR Specialist to join PT Vinfast Automobile Indonesia in Subang, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our human resources function and contributing to the development of our workforce. As an HR Specialist, you will be at the heart of our people operations, delivering strategic HR initiatives whilst ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organisational culture and employee experience as we continue to grow our presence in the Indonesian automotive market.

Key responsibilities

Providing comprehensive HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance management

Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination and offer management

Processing employee documentation, maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with Indonesian employment legislation

Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and guidelines

Assisting with employee engagement initiatives, training programmes and professional development activities

Handling employee queries and concerns whilst maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Collaborating with line managers to support performance management and employee development conversations

Contributing to HR administration, payroll coordination and benefit programme management

Participating in HR projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

Minimum 3 years of professional HR experience in a generalist or specialist HR role

Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment law, labour regulations and compliance requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels

Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and Microsoft Office applications

Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations and HR administration

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach

Fluency in both Indonesian and English languages, both written and verbal

Experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector would be advantageous
