Qualifications

• 3+ years in hotel or serviced apartment management with team leadership.
• Pre-opening experience or ability to establish operations for a new property.
• Strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, guest relations, and maintenance coordination.
• Experience managing serviced apartments for short- and long-stay guests.
• Ability to read financial and operational reports and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-opening preparations, including procedures and service standards.
• Oversee daily operations across front office, guest relations, housekeeping, engineering, and security.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff with clear performance expectations.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and presentation across apartments and common areas.
• Manage guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Oversee reservations, room availability, payments, night audits, and daily reporting.
• Manage operating budgets, purchasing, inventory, and expenses while maintaining service quality.
• Collaborate with sales to improve occupancy, ADR, revenue, and long-stay bookings.
• Coordinate with building management, vendors, and partners for smooth operations.
• Monitor performance and report to management with continuous improvements.

Solana SanLiving is a 65-unit serviced apartment property located above Ratu Plaza in Jakarta. We are looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to lead its opening and daily operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can build a reliable team, establish service standards, deliver excellent guest experiences, and drive operational and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre-opening preparations, including operational procedures, team readiness, unit inspections, and service standards.
• Oversee daily operations across front office, guest relations, housekeeping, engineering, and security.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff, with clear responsibilities and performance expectations.
• Ensure apartments and common areas consistently meet cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and presentation standards.
• Manage guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Oversee reservations, room availability, payments, night audit procedures, and daily reporting.
• Manage operating budgets, purchasing, inventory, and expenses while maintaining service quality.
• Work closely with the sales team to improve occupancy, average room rates, revenue, and long-stay bookings.
• Coordinate with building management, vendors, and service partners to ensure smooth property operations.
• Monitor operational and financial performance, report to management, and implement improvements.

About you

• At least 3 years of experience in a hotel or serviced apartment management role, with responsibility for teams and daily operations.
• Pre-opening experience or a proven ability to establish operations for a new property is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, guest relations, maintenance coordination, and cost control.
• Experience managing serviced apartments and understanding the needs of both short-stay guests and long-stay residents.
• Ability to read financial and operational reports, manage budgets, and turn findings into practical actions.
• Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), online booking platforms, and reporting tools.
• Strong spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia are required.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to train teams, maintain accountability, and lead by example.
• Calm, decisive, and resourceful when handling guest complaints, operational challenges, or emergencies.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to integrity and consistent service quality.
