Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a hands-on Head of HR to lead the development and execution of the group’s HR function across manufacturing sites. The role reports to the Founder/Group Owner and builds scalable HR systems covering talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, and labor compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, Business Administration, or Psychology.
• 7–10+ years HR experience with 3–5 years in senior HR leadership.
• Experience across Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, IR, and Policy.
• Experience in consumer electronics/trading or multi-site manufacturing preferred.
• Fluent business English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement group-wide HR SOPs, handbooks, and compliance policies.
• Lead workforce planning, headcount budgeting, and organizational design.
• Develop group-wide Performance Management systems with KPIs/OKRs.
• Partner with leaders to set manpower needs and improve recruitment effectiveness.
• Oversee Chinese expatriate governance, work authorizations, and immigration compliance.
• Drive payroll governance, salary structures, benchmarking, and employee benefits.
• Manage employee and industrial relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
• Establish HR reporting and workforce analytics for decision-making.
• Strengthen HR processes and documentation across all entities.
