Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Head of HR to lead the group's HR function across its manufacturing and commercial sites in Indonesia, reporting to the Founder/Group Owner. The role will design scalable HR systems covering talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, labor relations, policies, workforce planning, and employee development.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, capable of building HR from scratch, and will manage complex employee relations while partnering with senior management

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Law, Business Administration, or Psychology.
• 7–10+ years of comprehensive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in senior roles.
• Strong hands-on experience across Talent Acquisition, C&B, IR, PM, HR Policy, and HR Administration.
• Experience in Consumer Electronics, Trading & Distribution, FMCG, Retail, or Multi-Site Manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, formalize, and improve group-wide HR SOPs, handbooks, regulations, and HR compliance policies.
• Establish workforce planning, headcount budgeting, org structures, and manpower strategies.
• Develop and implement group-wide Performance Management Systems with KPIs, OKRs, and evaluations.
• Partner with leaders to set performance standards and boost productivity and organizational effectiveness.
• Identify talent gaps and develop onboarding, training, and succession planning initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment across executive, commercial, manufacturing, engineering, and admin functions.
• Oversee Chinese expatriate workforce governance, including work authorization and onboarding.
