Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a seasoned Head of HR to shape and lead the group’s HR function across multiple sites in Indonesia. You will build scalable HR systems, oversee talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, industrial relations, and workforce planning, while coordinating with owners and senior managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Law, Business Administration or related field.
• 7-10+ years HR experience with 3-5 years in managerial roles (Head/Senior Head).
• Hands-on across Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Industrial/Employee Relations, Performance Management, HR Policy and HR Administration.
• Experience in Consumer Electronics, Trading & Distribution, FMCG, Retail or Multi-Site Manufacturing preferred.
• Experience managing large workforces, ideally 1,000+ employees.
• Fluent business English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, formalize, and improve group-wide HR SOPs, handbooks, regulations, and compliance policies.
• Establish workforce planning, headcount budgeting, org structures, and manpower strategies.
• Develop and implement group-wide Performance Management Systems with KPIs/OKRs and incentives.
• Partner with unit and plant leaders to set performance standards and improve productivity.
• Identify talent gaps and lead onboarding, training, and succession planning initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment across executive to admin functions.
• Oversee expatriate governance, work authorization, and immigration compliance for Chinese staff.
• Serve as HR liaison between Owner, expatriate managers, technical teams, local management, and factory HR.
