Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a hands-on Head of HR to lead the HR function across its Jakarta-based manufacturing and commercial sites. You will design and implement scalable HR systems covering talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and labor compliance.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years HR experience, with 3–5 years in HR Manager or Head of HR roles.
• Hands-on HR across Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Industrial/Employee Relations, Performance Management, Policy, and HR Administration.
• Experience in Consumer Electronics, Trading & Distribution, FMCG, Retail, or Multi-Site Manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience managing large workforces; 1,000+ employees highly preferred.
• Experience in family-owned Chinese companies or Chinese-invested groups in Indonesia strongly preferred.
• Fluent business English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and formalize group-wide HR SOPs, handbooks, company regulations, and HR compliance policies.
• Establish workforce planning, headcount budgeting, organizational structures, and manpower strategies for expansion.
• Develop and implement group-wide Performance Management Systems with KPIs, OKRs, evaluation cycles, and incentive alignment.
• Partner with business unit and plant leaders to set performance standards and improve productivity and organizational effectiveness.
• Identify talent gaps and develop onboarding, training, talent development, and succession planning initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment across executive, commercial, manufacturing, engineering, technical, and administrative roles.
• Oversee Chinese expatriate workforce governance, including onboarding, work authorization, and compliance requirements.
• Serve as HR liaison between Group Owner, Chinese expatriate managers and local management.
• Facilitate cross-cultural communication between local and expatriate stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor regulations, BPJS, and internal HR policies across offices, warehouses, and factories.
• Lead Compensation & Benefits governance, including payroll oversight, salary structures, benchmarking, and benefits programs.
• Manage employee relations and industrial relations matters, including grievances and conflicts.
• Develop and maintain consistent HR policies across all group entities.
• Establish HR reporting and analytics to support decision-making and planning.
• Strengthen HR processes, controls, and documentation for growth.
