Job summary

SANY PERKASA is seeking a Head of General Affairs to oversee daily administrative operations, business affairs, EHS, and import/export activities in Indonesia. The role requires strong Mandarin communication with the Chinese HQ and local authorities, with light travel as needed.

Based in Jakarta, you will lead the GA team, coordinate cross‑functional activities, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and clients.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Indonesian, Chinese and English for internal and external communication.
• Experience with multinational corporations; admin, business affairs, EHS or import/export is preferred.
• Based in Jakarta; able to adapt to local working environment and pace.

Responsibilities

• Administration: Oversee day-to-day administrative affairs including office environment, logistics, licenses, seals, archives and visa matters.
• Business affairs: Support receptions and negotiations; draft, review and follow up contracts; maintain relationships with suppliers and clients; coordinate business activities and bidding/tender matters.
• Safety & Environment (EHS): Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations; organize hazard identification and rectification, safety training and emergency response plans; liaise with relevant government authorities.
• Import & Export: Manage end-to-end import/export operations, including customs declaration, documentation, logistics coordination and trade compliance; coordinate with customs, freight forwarders and licensing authorities.
• Team & Collaboration: Coordinate division of work and staff development within the General Affairs department; collaborate cross-functionally to support overall company operations.
