Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Head of Accounting to lead the group’s accounting across multiple entities and sites in Indonesia. You will strengthen accounting standards, consolidation, tax compliance, cost accounting, inventory, and internal controls while building scalable systems and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance is required or equivalent.
• CPA/CA certification is advantageous.
• 7–10+ years in accounting/tax with 3–5 years in a leadership role (Head/Manager).
• Experience in consumer electronics, electrical products, FMCG, trading, distribution, retail, or manufacturing preferred.
• Proven ability to manage accounting across multiple legal entities or business units.
• Strong ERP/finance system knowledge and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize group-wide accounting SOPs, COA, policies, and reporting standards.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation across subsidiaries.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting reports.
• Ensure consistency of accounting practices across operations (corporate, trading, warehouse, manufacturing).
• Strengthen internal controls, approvals, and audit trails across group entities.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and stock reconciliation.
• Coordinate tax compliance across entities and manage tax reporting/duties.
• Lead and develop accounting, tax, and finance personnel.
