Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a seasoned Head of Accounting in Jakarta to lead group-wide accounting across multiple entities, strengthening standards, consolidation, tax compliance, cost control, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will oversee accounting operations for corporate and manufacturing sites, coordinate tax matters, and drive system enhancements while reporting to the Founder/Group Owner. Fluency in English and Mandarin is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA/CA certification is a plus.
• 7–10+ years hands-on accounting and tax experience, 3–5 years in senior roles.
• Experience in consumer electronics, electrical products, FMCG, trading, distribution, retail, or manufacturing.
• Strong multi-entity accounting and commercial trading experience acceptable without direct manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing operations across multiple legal entities or business units.
• Experience in large-scale environments (1000+ employees) preferred.
• Experience in family-owned Chinese companies or Chinese-invested groups in Indonesia is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting and corporate tax rules; ERP proficiency.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; ability to build financial systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement group-wide Accounting SOPs, COA, policies, and reporting standards.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation across subsidiaries.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Ensure consistency of accounting across corporate, trading, warehouse, and manufacturing ops.
• Strengthen internal controls, approvals, and audit trails across entities.
• Oversee cost accounting, COGS analysis, inventory valuation, and stock reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory accounting, stock-takes, and reconciliation with operations.
• Coordinate corporate tax compliance and reporting (PPN, PPh, e-Faktur, etc.).
• Manage accounts receivable/payable, cash flow, and working capital reporting.
• Drive ERP/process improvements and finance team development across units.
