Job summary

PT Unicorn Food & Services, owner of THIS IS BALI in Bali, seeks an experienced Head Chef to lead and elevate day-to-day kitchen operations. You’ll manage the kitchen team, ensure smooth service, and build systems that deliver exceptional Indonesian cuisine.

Working with the Executive Chef, you’ll strengthen workflows, SOPs, and cost controls, coach staff, and foster a high-performing culture of ownership as the brand grows.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years working in professional kitchens.
• 3–5 years leading kitchen teams.
• High-volume hospitality or premium casual dining experience.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian and Nusantara cuisine and ingredients.
• Experience developing SOPs and training teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, including plate assembly and presentation.
• Develop SOPs, train teams, and improve operational performance.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation (FIFO).
• Ensure smooth lunch and dinner service and monitor ticket times.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and cross-functional teams to raise standards.
