Job summary

JAPFA FOOD INDONESIA is seeking a proactive General Trade (GT) Sales Lead to drive distribution and revenue within the assigned territory. You will supervise the GT sales team, craft strategies, and ensure effective coverage across traditional markets, wholesalers, retailers, and other GT outlets.

You will monitor activities, coach field staff, and deliver insightful reports to management, while expanding the customer base and maintaining strong distributor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the GT sales team to achieve targets and objectives.
• Develop and implement GT sales strategies based on territory potential and market conditions.
• Manage and expand distribution coverage across traditional markets, wholesalers, retailers, and other GT outlets.
• Monitor daily sales activities, visits, orders, outlet coverage, and distribution.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key customers.
• Ensure product availability and stock levels across distribution channels.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to adjust plans.
• Provide coaching and guidance to Sales Representatives and prepare reports for management.
