Job summary

PT Ouji Seiyaku Indonesia (Jakarta) is seeking a driven Territory Sales Manager to lead sales across General Trade and Modern Trade channels. You will develop strategies, manage distributors, and drive market expansion while ensuring robust in-store presence and brand visibility.

Qualified candidates will have 2–4 years FMCG experience, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and a solid distributor network, with willingness to operate in the assigned area. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in a Territory Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, or similar role within the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience managing both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels.
• Strong understanding of distributor management, Route-to-Market (RTM), merchandising, and trade promotion.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Strong network with local FMCG distributors, especially in the Home Care or Detergent industry, is an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Willing to be based in the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve area sales targets across General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels.
• Manage distributor performance to ensure effective product distribution, market expansion, and outlet coverage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and Modern Trade accounts.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
• Plan and execute trade promotions to maximize sales performance and ROI.
• Ensure product availability, merchandising excellence, and in-store brand visibility.
• Lead, coach, and develop Sales Supervisors, Merchandisers (MD), and SPGs to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor sales KPIs, including sell-in, sell-out, distribution, active outlets, and stock availability.
