Job summary

JAPFA FOOD INDONESIA in Sulawesi seeks a capable leader to head and supervise the General Trade sales team. You will develop GT sales strategies, expand distribution across traditional markets, wholesalers, retailers, and other GT outlets, and monitor daily activities to hit targets.

The role requires a minimum D3/S1 in management or related field and 2–3 years in GT/traditional trade sales, with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, plus willingness to frequent

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience in GT/TD sales preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic FMCG environment.
• Willingness to conduct frequent field visits in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the General Trade sales team to hit targets.
• Develop GT sales strategies based on territory potential and market conditions.
• Manage and expand distribution coverage across traditional markets, wholesalers, retailers, and other GT outlets.
• Monitor daily sales activities, customer visits, order achievement, outlet coverage, and distribution.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key customers.
• Monitor product availability, stock levels, and distribution to ensure market coverage.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and territory potential.
• Conduct regular field visits and provide coaching and guidance to Sales Representatives.
• Prepare sales reports and provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Ensure sales activities comply with company policies and guidelines.
