Job summary

deugro, a global project freight forwarding company, invites a Business Development Manager to join our Jakarta Selatan team. You will collaborate with the General Manager, develop new business opportunities in Indonesia, manage client engagements, and drive revenue growth while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in transportation/logistics/marketing/business administration or related field.
• Min. 5 years of relevant experience in business development in freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge about business development in logistics.
• Strong strategic and supportive leadership.
• Analytical and integrative thinking.
• Proficient in reading, understanding, and analyzing contract requirements.
• Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
• Excellent English communication (cross-functional and cross-cultural).

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager to ensure accurate & timely reporting of all sales activities (sales calls, visits, RFQ) to management.
• Plans and directs new business development operations.
• Deliver results in revenue, volume, GP, AR, and expenses in the country in line with targets.
• Develop business opportunities and guide for the sales team (local and overseas opportunities).
• Manage, support, and provide leadership to teammates to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Enhance and deploy BD strategy focused on client needs and market challenges.
• Engage with Global/Regional/ Country Account Managers, Project Manager and Operations to contribute to RFQ signals.
