Job summary

AlloFresh is seeking an experienced commercial analytics professional to drive growth and profitability through data-driven insights. You will monitor GMV, MTU, AOV, and other KPIs, evaluate campaigns and promotions, and model promo economics to inform decision making.

The role requires advanced Excel/Sheets and SQL, strong BI tool experience, and the ability to translate complex data into practical recommendations for business growth and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial analytics in e-commerce, retail, or consumer internet.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and SQL skills for modelling scenarios and turning data into insights.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics such as GMV, MTU, AOV, GM%, GP%, funnel, cohort, and RFM.
• Ability to design and evaluate promotional schemes with margin impact and customer targeting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency with AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and boost productivity.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Looker or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial performance and monitor key KPIs (GMV, MTU, AOV, GM%), identify trends, gaps, and risks.
• Evaluate campaign and promo performance, including uptake, GMV contribution, basket composition, user segments, and margin impact.
• Model promotional mechanics and target customers, defining promo economics and basket profiles.
• Assess post-campaign effectiveness, retention, behavioral changes, and margin impact.
• Monitor competitors and market developments, turning findings into actionable insights.
• Support ad-hoc, data-driven analyses to answer strategic and operational questions.
