Job summary

DSV in Jakarta is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to drive new client acquisition in contract logistics and warehousing. You will represent DSV's services, build pipelines, and coordinate with pricing to win new business.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and fluency in English, with Mandarin a plus; experience in freight forwarding or 3PL preferred. You will travel for meetings and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or 3PL industry is highly preferred. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for acquiring new business in line with assigned targets.
• Represent the company’s products and services, and provide comprehensive solutions to meet the needs of customers
• Responsible for identifying, market research, tracking, building customer pipelines and increase win ratio.
• Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories.
• Achieve sales goals by assessing future client needs and drive the end to end sales process with potential customer, including presentations, warehouse visit, solution discussion and workshop.
• Work with the pricing department and respective departments to create rate proposals and lead a tender management.
• Prepare for regular report on potential leads and project updates.
• Carrying out document administration, market research and presentation material activities
