Job summary
PT BSA Logistics Indonesia Tbk in Surabaya, East Java, seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying new market opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and developing revenue strategies. You will lead a sales team, craft proposals, onboard new customers, and execute target-driven activities in freight forwarding and shipping.
The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years in business development, strong English and Mandarin
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development or related role.
- Experience with target-driven sales environments.
- Preferably experience in Freight Forwarding & Shipping.
- Ability to lead a sales team and collaborate with others.
- Domicile in Surabaya or East Java preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin/Chinese (spoken and written).
Responsibilities
- Create business proposals for new and existing opportunities.
- Onboard new customers effectively.
- Identify target customers in core industries and pursue opportunities.
- Provide daily market and competition updates.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver high service levels.
- Lead the marketing team to achieve sales targets.
- Understand customer supply chains and sell value-added solutions.
