Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte Ltd in Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Business Development/Sales professional to expand its global logistics footprint. You will identify and acquire new B2B clients in international freight forwarding, prepare proposals, and drive revenue growth across Asia.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and a network among manufacturers and exporters. Travel across Asia will be necessary to meet clients and develop opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
5+ years of experience in Business Development/Sales, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
Strong B2B logistics sales and new client acquisition experience.
Good understanding of international freight forwarding, import/export, and sea/air freight.
Existing network among manufacturers, exporters/importers, trading companies, distributors, or MNCs is highly preferred; proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Business-level English proficiency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies to grow customer base and revenue.
Identify and acquire new B2B clients, particularly in international freight forwarding and import-export.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive retention and account growth.
Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and logistics solutions based on client needs.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, freight rates, and new business opportunities.
Manage sales pipeline and provide regular business development reports.
