Based in Medan, you will collaborate with HR, Finance, Purchasing, Marketing, and local teams. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Management/Business/Hospitality, 6+ years in F&B with 3+ years

Our client is a growing premium F&B group based in Medan, operating multiple brands across burgers, bakery, and coffee. With nine outlets and a dedicated bakery production facility, they are committed to delivering high-quality and consistent products while building strong, distinctive brands in the premium segment. We are currently assisting them in finding a motivated professional to join their growing team in Medan.

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, building effective systems, and developing a strong management team across the F&B business. You will identify recurring operational issues, improve processes, manage performance, and collaborate across functions to ensure sustainable business growth and consistent brand standards.

Responsibilities:

• Identify recurring operational issues, analyze root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Build and improve SOPs, preventive maintenance, task ownership, escalation processes, and operational systems.
• Assess, develop, and strengthen the management team while building a strong talent pipeline.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Purchasing, Marketing, and Jakarta teams to align operational standards.
• Oversee P&L, inventory, food and labor costs, POS systems, and overall operational performance.
• Represent and communicate the brand professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in F&B, including 3+ years leading multi-outlet operations.
• Proven experience improving underperforming teams or operations.
• Strong P&L ownership and understanding of food and labor cost control.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and financial statements.
• Strong problem-solving, systems thinking, leadership, and emotional intelligence.
• Comfortable representing a brand and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Intermediate English or above.
• Willing to be based in Medan.
