• Ensure effective stock planning, warehouse controls, and inventory transfers across production facilities and outlets.
• Maintain product quality, hygiene, food safety, and compliance with applicable business requirements.
• Lead department heads, establish clear KPIs, review performance, and support recruitment, training, and team development.
• Identify opportunities for business growth, including new outlets, sales channels, and B2B development.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are properly maintained to support reliable operations.
• Provide regular reports to management and shareholders covering financial performance, operations, risks, and improvement plans.

Our client operates a bakery and coffee-shop business in Medan. The company is looking for a General Manager to lead business performance, strengthen operational efficiency, and support profitable growth while maintaining consistent product quality and customer service.

About the role:

The General Manager will oversee the business’s overall operations, profitability, and team performance across outlets and supporting departments. This role requires a hands‑on leader with strong commercial awareness, financial discipline, and experience in F&B operations.

You will work closely with department heads and the chef responsible for bakery and production operations to achieve company targets and implement operational improvements.

Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate departments, and drive accountability through KPIs.

Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and management reporting.

English proficiency is preferred.

Willing to be based in or relocate to Medan.

Compensation and benefits:

Monthly salary: IDR 17–20 million.

Performance bonus opportunity equivalent to 3–4 months’ salary, subject to achievement of all required KPIs and company terms.
