Peoplyee in Surabaya, Indonesia, seeks a seasoned Ocean Freight Sales professional to identify new business opportunities, promote freight and customs clearance services, and develop revenue-generation strategies.

You will analyze customer needs, prepare customized proposals, negotiate contracts with international clients, and coordinate with operations to ensure timely delivery while building long-term relationships and delivering insightful forecasts to management.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum business-level English proficiency.
• At least 3 years of ocean freight sales experience.
• Experience handling international customers.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, third-party logistics, and sales processes.
• Proficiency in tender management, pricing simulations, and customized proposals.
• Good understanding of international import and export processes.
• Driver licence: SIM A or SIM C.
• THR (Lebaran Allowance): 1 month of salary

Responsabilidades

• Promote ocean freight and customs clearance services to identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Analyze customer needs, prepare customized proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure business.
• Visit existing and prospective customers to understand their requirements and develop suitable solutions with the operations team.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure services are delivered accurately and on time.
• Provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and business insights for management.
