Job summary

Aramex Indonesia seeks a Freight Operations Manager to lead the freight product and operations across air, sea and land. You will ensure on-time shipments, competitive pricing, and compliance, while guiding the operations team and coordinating with Commercial, Customer Service, Finance, and regional networks.

You will negotiate rates, manage carrier SLAs, and support tenders and special projects, reporting to the Country Manager and aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
• 7+ years in freight forwarding with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of air freight; other modes a plus.
• Experience procuring rates and supporting tenders.
• Familiarity with Indonesian customs procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office; fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• PPJK, DGR or Six Sigma is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily air, sea and land freight operations from booking to delivery.
• Set KPIs/SLAs and drive continuous improvement.
• Negotiate rates with airlines, shipping lines and agents.
• Lead freight operations team and manage budget and revenue targets.
• Provide market intelligence to Country Manager and sales team.
