Job summary

PT GLOVIS INDONESIA INTERNATIONAL is seeking a seasoned Logistics Sales Manager in Jakarta Selatan to lead freight forwarding and trucking sales, drive new business, and expand key accounts. You will shape short‑ and long‑term plans, mentor junior staff, and report on market trends and performance.

The role requires excellent negotiation, strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication, and a proven track record in the freight forwarding sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in freight forwarding/trucking sales.
• Proven track record in Freight Forwarding Industry in terms of new business acquisition and market expansion.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor strategies.
• Ability to produce thorough, structured, and audit-friendly reports.
• Leadership skills to mentor junior sales staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good Reference Check from Previous Company and did not have any issue in Manpower Ministry

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand freight forwarding and trucking business.
• Identify and penetrate new industrial sectors and high‑potential customers.
• Establish short‑term and long‑term sales plans aligned with company revenue targets.
• Lead new customer acquisition initiatives and strategic account development.
• Monitor market trends, freight rates, and competitor movements to refine strategies.
• Manage key customer relationships and ensure service satisfaction.
• Lead client meetings, negotiations, and proposal presentations.
• Oversee RFQ handling, pricing strategy, and quotation approval.
• Ensure achievement of sales targets (volume, revenue, gross profit).
• Supervise and guide junior sales staff in pipeline management and daily activities.
• Provide reports on freight rates (air/sea), market indices, and competitor activities.
• Prepare sales reports, pipeline analysis, and forecasting.
• Update management on logistics trends and regulatory changes.
