Job summary

Global Putra International (GPI) is a leading logistics and freight forwarding company in Indonesia, seeking a dynamic business development professional. This role will help secure new business and grow the existing customer base, increasing share of wallet while coordinating with shipping, operations, and service teams in Jakarta and surrounding areas.

You will need to demonstrate negotiation prowess and marketing insight, with 3–5 years in freight forwarding or logistics, and preferably

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Economics/Business/Marketing/Transportation/Logistics from a reputable university.
• 3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Ability to negotiate and strong marketing skills.
• Experience in warehouse or project sales is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Secure new business and manage the existing pool of accounts to increase share of wallet.
• Develop, analyze and improve marketing quality.
• Maintain relations based on data customers, doing research for new opportunities and customers.

Job description

To secure new businesses for the company as well as managing the existing pool of accounts to increase the share of wallet from these customers

Develop, analyst and improve marketing quality

Maintain relations based on data customers, doing research for new opportunities and customers

Work closely with Operational, Customer Service, and Documents team regarding the shipping / forwarding progress

Requirements:

Bachelor degree or master degree (Economics and Business/Marketing Management/Transportation/Logistics) from reputable university

At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field (freight forwarding and logistics company)

Ability to negotiate and deep understanding of marketing skills

Experienced in Warehouse sales & Project sales is advantage.

Experienced in Special container sales (Reefer, IBC, isotank) also preferable.

Excellent in leadership skills, self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results

Required languages: Indonesia, English or MANDARIN LANGUANGE will a point plus

Computer literate (Microsoft Office applications especially Ms. Excel)

High curiosity and eagerness to learn

Pleasant personality and good communication skills

Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment

Will be placed in Jakarta and Cikarang
