Job summary

PT On Time Express is seeking a Business Development Specialist for freight forwarding in Jakarta. You will target new customers, craft sales strategies for Import/Export, and coordinate with operations to meet client needs.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics/freight forwarding, English fluency, and the ability to work independently toward targets. This is a full-time position with a bonus scheme and allowances.

Qualifications

• S1 from reputable university.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the same position, with logistics or freight forwarding experience.
• Knowledge of the logistics industry; freight forwarding knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
• Able to work independently and able to work under target.
• Full-time position available.

Responsibilities

• Identify new potential customers and develop sales strategy especially in Import Export.
• Understand customer needs and coordination of the preparation of solution offerings to potential customers.
• Negotiate with potential new customers.
• Coordinate with the operational team in order to meet customer needs in accordance with applicable standards.
• Maintain good relationship with existing customers.
• Develop new business for existing customers.
• Achieving the target customer that has been set.
