Job summary

Engio is seeking a Sales Engineer for a client specializing in formwork and scaffolding systems. You will drive sales and profitability by identifying market opportunities and managing projects from proposal to shipment.

Responsibilities include site visits, crafting proposals with the engineering team, negotiating terms, handling contracts and payments, and providing post-sale support while developing sales strategies to hit targets in a dynamic global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4 years of experience in construction, preferably formwork/scaffolding.
• Solid understanding of engineering and commercial aspects.
• Experience with contract management and negotiation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Interpersonal, growth-oriented, results-driven, agile, and ownership mindset.
• Experience in international environments is a plus.
• Good knowledge of CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target construction projects.
• Visit project sites to assess formwork system needs.
• Work with the engineering team to create proposals for the required formwork systems.
• Negotiate commercial terms with customers.
• Prepare contracts, manage customer payments, and oversee shipments.
• Regularly visit construction sites after sales to provide support and address any questions.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to reach sales targets.
• Stay informed about market trends, including upcoming projects, competitors, and customer requirements.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues escalated by the team promptly and professionally.
