Job summary

Engio is seeking an Assistant Product Manager — Metal Products to support planning, development, and management of product ranges in lifting, rigging, and fall-protection. You will help drive strategy, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure products meet customer needs, standards, and commercial targets.

The role involves market analysis, supplier engagement, and lifecycle management, with international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Mechanical/Industrial/Materials) and strong product management foundation.
• Experience with metal products like wire rope, lifting equipment, or rigging is preferred.
• Proven ability to source suppliers, negotiate prices, and manage product life cycles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps for lifting, rigging, and fall-protection lines.
• Coordinate new product development from specification to launch, including testing oversight.
• Analyze market, competitor, and customer feedback to drive product improvements and position.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to resolve issues and optimize cost and performance.
• Support pricing analysis, cost modeling, and lifecycle management; provide technical training to sales teams.
