Job summary

PT Sefong Industries Batam is seeking a Finance & Accounting Staff to join our finance team on a full-time basis. Based in Batam, Riau Islands, this role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's accounting operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring financial data is recorded accurately and in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations, supporting management decision-making through timely reporting and reliable financial

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in financial accounting or similar role.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and with a team, maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Record and post financial transactions including AP/AR and GL entries.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and expense reports.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain financial records with data accuracy and completeness.
• Process invoices, POs, and payment documentation.
• Support tax compliance activities and regulatory adherence.
• Assist month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters.
• Support audit activities with required documentation.
• Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting operations.
