Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in financial accounting or similar role.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and with a team, maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Record and post financial transactions including AP/AR and GL entries.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and expense reports.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain financial records with data accuracy and completeness.
• Process invoices, POs, and payment documentation.
• Support tax compliance activities and regulatory adherence.
• Assist month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters.
• Support audit activities with required documentation.
• Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting operations.

About the role

As Finance & Accounting Staff, you will be responsible for ensuring financial data is recorded accurately and in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. This position plays a crucial role in supporting management decision-making through timely and reliable financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and posting financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Preparing and reconciling bank statements and expense reports
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Maintaining financial records and ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Processing invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation
• Supporting tax compliance activities and ensuring adherence to tax regulations
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters
• Supporting audit activities and providing necessary documentation as required
• Performing general administrative tasks related to accounting operations

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar accounting role
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and general ledger practices
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and financial reporting requirements
