Job summary

Chicago Pneumatic Tools Division (CPTD) is seeking a service engineer to deliver high-quality product and software services at customer sites or workshops in Jakarta. You will diagnose performance issues, source parts, calibrate and certify service work while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in an engineering service environment.
IT, network and database knowledge (Raven DB will be an advantage).
PLC literacy will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Provide full and professional product services at customer location or at workshop.
Diagnose faulty or inefficient performance of CPD products and take action to rectify.
Identify and source spare parts and consumables for service jobs.
Carry out calibration, testing, programming and certification of service work per procedures.
Generate technical reports on service provided at site or workshop.
Undertake ad-hoc service jobs at customer site or workshop.
Flexible attitude to working outside normal hours when required.
Provide software debugging and ensure software runs properly.
Arrange equipment and parts for service jobs and record them timely.
Finalize service documents to meet requirements.
Raise flags or request support for business or technical risks.
Comply with safety, health, environment and quality policies and audit requirements.

To perform a high level of customer service, respond to customer needs, work to meet customer expectations and improve customer satisfaction by providing a professional product and software services in the role of member of Chicago Pneumatic Division team

Your mission

The role

To provide full and professional product services at customer location or at workshop
To diagnose problematic and inefficient performance of CPD products and take appropriate action to rectify performance
To identify and source spare parts and consumables required for the responsible service jobs
To carry out calibration, testing, programming and certification of service job assigned according to company standard procedures
To generate technical reports on service provided at site or inside workshop
To undertake ad-hoc service jobs as necessary both at customer site or inside workshop
To incorporate flexible attitude to working out of normal working environment as and when required.
To provide company software debugging, troubleshooting and ensure software back to work properly
To arrange field and workshop equipment and replacement parts ready for service jobs and timely manage recording of those equipment and parts
To finish service documents according to company or customer requirements
To raise red flag or request for support when there is business or technical risk
To follow strictly on safety, health, environment and quality policy and report safety risks to prevent future accident
To follow and fulfill all service documents and procedure to meet both internal and external audit requirements

Skills And Experience

Good engineering skills, with at least 1 year experience in an Engineering service environment
IT, Network and database knowledge (Raven db will be an advantage)
PLC literation will be an advantage
