Monroe Consulting Group is partnering with an Industrial sector organisation in Jakarta to hire a Sales Engineer. Based in Jakarta, this role suits professionals aiming to develop a career in heavy machinery sales and technical support.

The Sales Engineer will support sales activities with technical expertise, engage customers, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth in the EV machinery segment. Travel and a valid driving licence are required.

Qualifications

3–4 years of experience in sales, engineering, or the heavy machinery industry.
Fresh graduates with relevant exposure are welcome to apply.
Good English communication skills.
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
Basic understanding of heavy machinery or a strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Sales Support: Assist in executing sales plans and supporting the achievement of sales targets, particularly focusing on EV Machinery.
Technical Support: Provide product knowledge and basic technical guidance to customers to help match equipment with their needs.
Customer Engagement: Support the development and maintenance of relationships with customers and dealers.
Marketing Plan Implementation: Assist in promoting and executing marketing plans and product campaigns.
Market Intelligence: Support market research and gather insights about the Jakarta equipment market.
Leasing Company Coordination: Assist in maintaining relationships with local leasing companies and support financing discussions.
