Job summary

Job description

We are looking for an MEP Estimator to support our tendering and cost estimation activities, specializing in either Fire Protection or Piping systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, preparing quantity take-offs, calculating project costs, and supporting the preparation of competitive quotations for MEP installation works.

Key responsibilities

Review tender documents, technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Prepare quantity take-offs (QTO), material take-offs (MTO), and cost estimates for Fire Protection or Piping systems.

Calculate material, labor, installation, and subcontractor costs.

Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.

Identify discrepancies in drawings, scope of work, and project requirements.

Coordinate with internal teams to support tender preparation and quotation submissions.

About you

Minimum D3 (Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in MEP estimation, preferably with an MEP or mechanical contractor.

Specialized experience in at least one of the following: Fire Protection (piping networks, sprinkler systems, hydrants, pumps, valves, and related installation works) or Piping (piping layouts, pipes, fittings, valves, supports, and related mechanical installation works).

Able to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Familiar with quantity take-offs, material calculations, and project cost estimation.

Good command of Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD skills are an advantage.

Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work within tender deadlines.

Experience in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, or data center projects.

Familiarity with supplier and subcontractor quotation analysis.

Experience supporting MEP tender submissions and cost comparisons.
