Job summary

PT Decorient Partaya Indonesia is seeking a seasoned MEP Site Project Coordinator to collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into complex project plans.

Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of direct site experience in MEP installation for buildings, factories, or data centers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure MEP systems are integrated into project plans.
• Manage MEP subcontractors including selection, negotiation, and coordination to meet project requirements.
• Conduct onsite inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and ensure compliance with drawings and codes.
• Review shop drawings, manage material submittals, and prepare technical reports.
• Support Testing & Commissioning activities during SAT, pre-functional checks, and IST.

Job description

Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure MEP systems are integrated seamlessly into overall project plans. Managing MEP subcontractos, including selection process, negotiation, and coordination to meet the project requirements.

Procurement and Vendor Management: Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with project specifications and budgetary constraints.

Inspection Duties: Conduct thorough inspections onsite for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at various stages of construction projects. Ensure compliance with project specifications (Approved Drawing, Material Approval, Schematic system) building codes, and regulatory requirements. Identify deviations from approved designs or standards and recommend corrective actions. Document inspection findings, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of inspections with completion schedule for closing findings.

Quality Assurance and Compliance: Verify that installed MEP systems meet quality standards and are in accordance with approved construction drawings and specifications. Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations related to MEP installations. Participate in project meetings and contribute to resolving technical issues related to MEP systems.

Documentation:Review shop drawings, manage material submittals, maintain accurate red-line markups, and prepare technical reports.

Testing & Commissioning (T&C): Support the T&C team during crucial phases like SAT, pre-functional checks, and the final Integrated Systems Test (IST), ensuring flawless system handovers.

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct site experience in MEP installation for Building, Factories, Data Center, etc.

Technical Expertise:

Electrical focus on Installation shell and core including bus duct, panel , lighting , socket outlet, ghounding and lightning protections.

Mechanical focus on expertise in ACMV Installations for Shell and core, Fire sprinkler dry systems and Fire Hydrant installations.

Electronics focus on expertise in Fire alarm system and evacuations for Shell and core area to Getting Building SLF combine with Fire Protections system
